Emerged from the homeowner's pandemic-inspired desire to connect with nature while maintaining full privacy, this residence embodies a harmonious blend of indoor and outdoor living. Guests are welcomed through an internal garden that doubles as an entry plaza, a physically dynamic space that can be enclosed or opened by two wall-sized gates.
Cross ventilation serves as the primary means of temperature control, promoting natural air circulation throughout the home. This approach aligns with the residence's emphasis on dynamic interior spaces that effortlessly transition between enclosed and open configurations, allowing nature to permeate into the living spaces through generous glazed sliding doors.
Atop the home, a sprawling green rooftop offers a haven for sunbathing and cozy night bonfires under the stars, further reinforcing the connection with nature that pervades every aspect of the design. The minimalist architectural design, based on clean geometric forms, promotes a sense of clarity and efficiency in space utilization. The residence stands as a testament to the transformative power of architecture in creating spaces that foster a deep connection with the natural world.
